Employ Me Labour Hire are currently seeking Wardrobe Installers/Joiners in the Sydney region.
Our client, a nationally known and respected company, has recently been awarded several contracts for wardrobe installations in high-rise apartments throughout Sydney. These are long-term career opportunities for the right candidates!
What you need to succeed in this role:
- Previous experience in Carpentry/Joinery/Woodwork (this could be as a Trades Assist, from tertiary study etc.)
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- To take great pride in your work
- The ability to work unsupervised
- Previous experience in the construction industry
This is a career opportunity for skilled candidates to join our team and become trained up in wardrobe installation to ultimately progress to become a skilled Joiner. A 2 week training period will be provided by an onsite supervisor and after that constant support will be supplied through supervisors and other qualified representatives. After the training period, it is expected that you will be able to knock up these wardrobes efficiently and with great workmanship.
Pay rates will depend on experience, qualifications and quality of work (with the minimum wage being $24.50 per hour plus a daily travel allowance of $17.43). However, we propose that your wage will be reviewed every 2-3 months, and where appropriate, will be raised by $2 per hour.
Employ Me Labour Hire will provide all necessary tools (but you are welcome to use your own if preferred). We expect employees to treat these tools as their own and keep them in good condition.
